Fort Smith History Books sale and exhibits.

Location:   Fort Smith Holiday Inn City Center -- Atrium

9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Fifteen Fort Smith history books will be available for purchase along with five books on Eureka Springs.
Note card sets with historic scenes by artist John Bell, Jr. of Fort Smith, Eureka Springs, Van Buren and
Little Rock will be on sale.  Fayetteville postcard sets by Stan Kujawa will also be available.

Two new Fort Smith book projects will be on display.  "Churches of Fort Smith" now includes over 200
photographs.  Over 600 named churches are now in the Church Database.  Another title in progress is
"Storms, Fires & Floods" and will be on display.

An exhibit of display-only items include 1,000 Fort Smith postcards, panoramic photos and the Garrison
Avenue data base.  The database includes 10,000 listings of occupants of Garrison Avenue.
